Recently, we had the pleasure of working on a project just north of Toowoomba, in the serene locale of Emu Creek. Our client, Michael, entrusted us with the task of engineering and supplying his dream Colorbond shed.

Building a shed is often a once-in-a-lifetime investment for many of our clients, and we treat every project with the respect and care it deserves. Initially drawn to cheaper offers from interstate companies using lower-grade, imported steel, Michael decided to do his homework. After thorough research, he chose Dinky Di Sheds Toowoomba for our impeccable local reputation and decades of experience in the region. When comparing materials and overall value, he found that we offered superior quality and better value for money than other shed companies.

Shed Specifications and Features

This impressive 6-bay shed spans 12 meters in width, extends 31.5 meters in length, and stands 6 meters high to the gutter. It features three planetary-geared, chain-driven industrial roller doors and three smaller residential roller doors, providing versatility and accessibility. For easy access, we incorporated three high-quality pre-hung personal access doors strategically placed around the perimeter. Additionally, six powder-coated windows with flyscreens ensure proper ventilation.

To ensure comfort throughout Toowoomba’s varied climate, we installed Australian-made Kingspan insulation across the entire building envelope, offering excellent thermal performance. Natural light floods the interior through six industrial fiberglass skylights, reducing the need for artificial lighting during the day.

Michael opted for the calming hue of Colorbond Pale Eucalypt for his shed’s exterior. This color, reminiscent of the varied green tones found in native eucalyptus trees, harmonizes beautifully with the surrounding bushland, creating a tranquil and cohesive environment and added Colorbond Monument gutters and trims to frame the building like a picture.

Completing the design is an open garaport bay on one end, offering convenient weather protection for outdoor tasks.
