Thank-you to every one who has entered this financial year and we are pleased to announce that we will be re-running the compitition for the 2013-14 financial year.

Here are some of the other great entries that we have recieved lately from our customers.
Heres a great entry from "Camp Goodenough" outdoor and adventure centre at Bilambil NSW. They purchased a carport measuring 5.4m x 10.8m with the roof sloping from right to left. The roof is Zincalume® with the trimmings Pale Eaucalypt®.
How's this for tough! N&D Cox of Camerons Pocket QLD built this "Open Gable" farm shed. It measures 9.0 across the gable and 8.0m in length with a 3.0m gutter height. We opened up one side wall with extended wall sheets down that side for added weather protection. The shed is finished in Corrugated Zincalume® from BlueScope Steel. "Open Gable" sheds offer large clear-span  openings at a budget price. This shed will surely last a life time.
Another beautiful "Open Gable" sent in from "Fairview Station" near Dunmora QLD. They requested large steel Sliding Doors along the side and cladded them with timber for a truley stunning effect. This shed has Corrugated Pale Eucalypt® walls, Classic Cream® Trimmings and a Zinc roof. This shed measures 12m x 20m x 4.0m. What a great job guys!
Wouldn't you love this at home!(round bales not included)A seven Bay "Open Fronter" purchsed by the Heelan's in Toodyay Western Australia measuring 18m x 42m x 5.0m. This awesome farm shed is the way to go if you've got some serious gear and hay to store.
This is a little free-standing awning added to an existing building sent in by Mr Holloway of Wamuran. These are a great option of extending a roof area without having to go through the trouble of attaching the buildings together where engineering and council problems can become an issue. The posts have been painted white to match the surroundings.
This is a gable roof carport with the added options of "gable infills" on both ends. Rod from Toowoomba sent this one in and he did a great job on the build. It measures 6.0m wide by 7.7m long and sits in front of an older existing garage. The new carport is a great addition to his house and will protect his vehicles from the sun and the rain.
How flash are these Dutch Gable Carports? These guys have saved many thousands of dollars by getting this carport from us instead of having it built with the house when constructed. This Dutch Gable Carport measures 7.0m x 7.0m x 2.7m and gives heaps of sheltered area for the family. The roof and barges are finished in Bushland®, the gutters are Woodland Grey® and the gable infill is Headland®. They have also painted the galvanised posts to match and it looks great.
The old car and tractor can't wait to get inside this ripper. G Hamilton of Tarameo has chosen a very versatile design with a combination of open and closed bays. It measures 9.0 x 15 x 3.6m and has 5 x 3.0m bays. It features Pale Eucalypt® cladding, Wilderness® doors and trims with a Zincalume® roof. The internal wall is Zinc saving a few bucks. The roller doors are 3.0m high x 2.65m wide and has a PA door and two windows around the side.
Whats great about this shed is the premium 22 degree roof pitch giving the building a classy look. Built in Glenn Innes the customer has chosen a large 6.0m wide sliding doors and has done a great job. Sliding doors are a great option for larger openings as they are made to fit the entire bay width with very little room lost compared with roller doors. Thanks for sharing Matt. This shed measures 12m x 18m x 4.4m.
The great thing about our sheds is the ability to customise the shed to suite your block. Glenn has squeezed a huge 7.0 x 9.0 shed in with side entry roller doors and an extra huge 6.0m x 6.0m lean-to out the front. Well done mate!
John & Esma sent this picture in of their barn with lean-to. The main building measures 7.5 x 12 x 3.6m with a 15° roof pitch. It has a 4.0m wide enclosed lean-to down one side. The lean-to comes straight off the main roof without a "pelmet" drop giving it an ond school Australian barn look.
This cyclone-rated shed sent in by Kirsty in Marion QLD has everything. It has a habitable area with windows and a glass sliding door up one end and a seperated lock-up garage down the other. She has added Aircell insulation for additional comfort. This building measures 12m x 15m x 3.5m with a 4 x 9.0m lean-to along 3 bays of the building
Another great entry from WA. Pat has built this attractive looking workshop. It looks great in Ironstone® Mono-Clad cladding all over and a 22° roof pitch. This shed measures 6.0m x 12m x 3.0m but with a 22° pitch has a 4.2m apex! It has two 2.5 high x 2.7m wide roller doors.
Wesley from kensington Grove sent this photo of his 6.0 x 12 x 3.0m shed. 9.0m of the shed is enclosed with an additional 3.0 "garaport" roof extention. The garaport is a great way to get more roof for your money and often becomes essential car parking space when the shed gets filled up! The walls on this shed are Sandbank® and the trimmings are Headland®
This great looking 9.0 x 14.5 x 4.0m shed was sent in by Jason from Arthurville NSW. The shed features 4 x 3.6h x 3.1w industrial chain driven roller doors, set up so he can drive straight through the shed. The walls are Sandbank® and the roof is Wilderness®
The Schooners from Guanaba QLD sent us this photo of their Dinky Di Shed designed specifically to house their solar array of several kW's. Essentially its a 22° skillion roof shed with no walls, however special engineering considerations need to take into account the additional load of the panels on the building. The great thing about mounting you panels on a shed it that the support structure has a dual purpose.
Another beautiful looking Open Gable shed sent to us by Kate from Gowrie NSW. It's deceptively large measuring at 6.5m x 12m x 2.7m. We always supply extra flashings on our Colorbond Open Gable sheds so that they look this good from the front. A Woodland Grey® roof with Surfmist® walls was a great choice.
This is a Cyclone rated garage sent in by Col in Andergrove QLD. The builder was CAND constructions and it came up a treat. The walls are a Mono-Clad® Shale Grey® with Deep Ocean® roof and roller door
Have we saved the best till last? An absolute stunner sent in by Todd from Moggill. How good does that 30° roof pitch look? The shed measures 9.0m x 15m x 3.6m but the apex height is 6.2m. The shed has two large sliding doors and a PA door. The walls are Headland® the roof is Paperbark® and the barge and gutters are Deep Ocean®. Because this shed is Australian made it will look just as good in 50 years as it does today.
